Fully Fund Education

Ron Monnig believes that strong public schools are the foundation of our community. He is committed to fully funding education, increasing teacher salaries, and ensuring local control of schools. Public money should stay in public schools to provide the best education for our children.

Reproductive Rights

Keep Government Out of Medical Decisions!

Ron Monnig believes that personal medical decisions should remain private, between a woman and her doctor, without government interference. He supports common-sense policies that respect individual freedom and privacy.

Fiscal Responsibility

With a state budget just over $50 billion, Ron Monnig is committed to eliminating waste and inefficiency. Identified errors exceeded $718 billion, and only 28 non-budget bills passed this year—the lowest ever. Key issues like child care tax credits, banning child marriage, and securing Social Security benefits for foster kids were left unaddressed.

Ron calls for an END to intra-party squabbling and deadlock!

He believes in the need for dialogue, debate, and decision-making. Politics is the art of compromise, and decorum and respect must return to the legislative process.
